With the variety of venues to enjoy dinner and drinks at Wollongong Central, we thought now was a great time to check in with the team at The Little Prince and bring you an exclusive cocktail recipe from their new winter menu! 

The weather may be cooling down, but wine and cocktail bar favourite The Little Prince (Globe Lane, Level G) has a hot new winter menu that’s just been unveiled! The team tells us full-bodied spirits like scotch, whisky and brandy are the tipple of choice during the colder months, along with the seasonal switch to red wine. To get in the mood, the team shared this exclusive recipe for the aromatic and mildly-spiced Alexander Brandy. Be sure to drop in to The Little Prince to sample the new menu in their signature cosy surrounds. 

Alexander Brandy

Makes 1
30ml Cognac 
30ml White Crème de Cacao 
30ml Pure Cream 
Nutmeg (to garnish) 


Chill a Brandy Balloon with ice cubes for 2-3 minutes then discard ice cubes, or chill glass in refrigerator. Shake gently all ingredients (except nutmeg) in a Boston Glass with ice cubes. 
Double strain into Brandy Balloon. 
Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg. 
Serve immediately. 

Optional: Light a cinnamon stick and use as a flaming garnish. This provides a smoky and aromatic effect.
