The safety and wellbeing of all our customers, staff and our community remains our top priority. With the increasing numbers of COVID-19 in NSW we are encouraging the use of face coverings at Wollongong Central.
Please consider wearing a mask when you shop.
NSW Health are advising people to wear a mask where social distancing is not possible, particularly in environments such as shopping centres and supermarkets. Please bring your mask when you shop to help protect yourself and others.
Wearing a mask helps to reduce community transmission.
One way COVID-19 is spread is when an infected person coughs or sneezes near another person.
A mask helps to contain droplets when a person coughs or sneezes, and reduces the likelihood of COVID-19 spreading.
A mask is not a substitute for other precautions.
Using a mask may provide a false sense of security. The use of a mask and only a mask will not prevent infection.
Remember, the best ways to protect yourself and others against COVID-19 remain:
- practicing physical distancing
- washing your hands
- coughing or sneezing into your elbow or tissue
- staying home when sick

While we won't stop you from entering the centre if you choose not to wear a face covering, we will ask that you remain vigilant on adhering to social distancing and the additional hygiene measures already in place. We ask that you respect other customers and our staff if they choose not to wear a face covering.
We want to thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to keep our community safe.
